📐🎿 Our geometry students put the Pythagorean Theorem to work, calculating the shortest distance for a ski lift—how cool is that? Meanwhile, our pre-algebra classes tackled skill builders to strengthen their math foundations. We're thrilled to be using Prism VR Math from the LISD to make learning more interactive and engaging! 🎉✨ #morencibulldogs

Jadyn's endlessly positive attitude keeps both co-workers and students smiling. She goes above and beyond to support her students and sets an incredible example as a paraprofessional.
In her second year with us, Jadyn shows up every morning with a smile and a determination to make a difference. She’s dedicated to improving the educational experience for her students, always eager to learn new skills, and ready to help wherever she’s needed.
Jadyn's passion for supporting students extends beyond the classroom—she even volunteers with the Special Olympics in her free time.

We want to extend a huge thank you to all our MS families who donated to the Wounded Warrior Project! 🎉 Our 6th graders in 6.2 enjoyed a well-deserved free day and spent time writing heartfelt letters to veterans after winning the Penny Wars competition. 🥇💌
Together, we raised an incredible $425 to support wounded veterans! 🇺🇸💙 Thank you for helping us make a difference! #bulldogs
Congratulations Makayla Nieman for being selected as the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen from your high school. This award recognizes students who have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism to an outstanding degree. Makayla is one of only eight seniors in Lenawee County to receive this honor.
One of our fellow Bulldogs is making a big impact outside of our building. Rebecca Cox has been selected as a Student Senator to represent the State of Michigan for Educators Rising. Her role with this honor is to bring forth ideas about education to discuss with other state's Student Senators to make suggestions for the National Conference. Be sure to congratulate her as you see her around the community!
Bulldog Fridays offer an exciting opportunity to reward students while enjoying a lively karaoke session.
Four of our Morenci High School Band members participated in the 2024 LCBDA Honors Band on November 2 &3. The four participants from Morenci were Lilly Harsh, Katelyn Ruse, Harrison Sarnac and Tessa Zuvers. They spent the entire day rehearsing with approximately 100 students from the other 11 bands in Lenawee County. Their guest conductor was Jared Throneberry, recently retired director of bands from Manchester High School. What a great experience for these students. Way to go!
🎃 A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Halloween Parade! Because of your generosity, our students headed home with bags full of treats and a memory that will last a lifetime. You've truly made this a Halloween Parade to remember. 🧡👻 Thank you for making the day special!
Our Sophomores had a fantastic day at the LISD Center for a Sustainable Future! They explored exciting career paths in Agri-Tech, Horticulture, and Natural Resources while enjoying the beautiful weather. 🌱 #FutureReady #CareerExploration #MorenciBulldogs
This year, we're excited to offer German as a new language class! Our students dove into learning all the polite ways to order food and drinks, just like they would at a restaurant or festival in Germany.
To bring this lesson to life, they practiced by ordering German chocolate bars and chose from apple juice, Coke, Fanta, or Mezzo Mix (a tasty blend of Coke and Fanta)! 🍫🥤
It was such a fun and interactive way to reinforce vocabulary! 🎉
🎃👻 The Middle School Halloween Dance was a spooktacular success! Students had a blast showing off their costumes and dancing the night away. Huge shoutout to DJ Sammy C for keeping the energy high all night and for his generous support of our students. If anyone is looking for an awesome DJ, we recommend him!
Congratulations to our costume contest winners:
✨ Best Girl Costume: Jazmynn
✨ Best Boy Costume: Gray
✨ Best Group Costume: Amelia, Izzy, and Tenley
Thanks to everyone who made this night unforgettable! 🧛♂️💀🕸️

Don’t let your child stay home unless they are truly sick. Consider that sometimes a stomach ache or headache is a sign of anxiety. Talk to teachers, school counselors, and other parents for advice on how to make your child feel comfortable and excited about learning.
