Morenci Area Schools offers eligible students the opportunity to participate in dual enrollment through the Postsecondary Enrollment Options Act, effective since April 1996. This program allows students to earn college credits while attending high school, giving them a head start on their postsecondary education.
Eligibility Requirements:
Available to students in grades 10, 11, and 12.
Students must meet state standard scores on the ACT, PSAT, or SAT.
Students in grade 10 must demonstrate exceptional academic readiness and have PSAT scores appropriate for the program.
Completion of any college-recommended prerequisites is required.
Program Guidelines:
College courses must align with State requirements.
Courses must fit within the student’s high school schedule.
