Come out tomorrow night at 7:00 for the Homecoming game vs. Vandercook Lake and to celebrate these seniors as they represent Morenci High School as this fall's king and queen candidates.
Today, we would like to introduce our senior king and queen candidates:
Brodie Pike and Clarissa Berger
Brodie participates in football, basketball, track and golf. He describes himself as hardworking, resilient and fast. Brodie is the son of Brad and Megan Pike.
Clarissa is the President of both the Class of 2023 and the National Honor Society. She participates in cross country, basketball, track, FCA and the National Technical Honor Society. She describes herself as charismatic, hydrated and slay. Clarissa is the daughter of Scott and Rebecca Berger.
We would like to introduce our junior class representatives for Fall Homecoming 2022: Shamus Alcock and Elizabeth Ferris.
Shamus is the son of Mary Alcock and Donnie and Kendra Alcock. He participates in football and basketball. Shamus is described as funny, athletic and humble.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Durke and Karen Ferris. She participates in powerlifting, track and the National Honor Society. Elizabeth is described as kind, creative and strong.
We would like to introduce our sophomore class representatives for Fall Homecoming 2022: Wyatt Berger and Chelsea Pierce.
Wyatt is the son of Scott and Rebecca Berger. He participates in track and cross country and has been the class president the last two years. Wyatt is described as funny, competitive, and charismatic.
Chelsea is the daughter of Bill and Susan Pierce. She participates in volleyball, basketball and softball. She is also a member of FCA. Chelsea is described as kind, dedicated, and hardworking.
Picture day is Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 4th for all students. You may pre-pay online at shop.hrimaging.com or send in the picture package with your child.
We would like to introduce our freshman class representatives for Fall Homecoming 2022: Gabriel Stiver and Katelyn Ruse.
Gabe is the son of Mark and Emily Stiver. He participates in basketball and plans on also joining the golf team this spring. Gabe is described as intelligent, funny, kind and patient.
Katelyn is the daughter of Jon and Katie Ruse. She is a member of the basketball and volleyball teams at Morenci. Katelyn also participates in FCA and is a member of the band. Katelyn is described as kindhearted, smart, strong and a true team player.

Morenci Elementary is kicking off their annual Charleston Wrap Fundraiser. This fundraiser is all online and the items are shipped directly to your home. Money raised from the fundraiser helps to pay for assemblies, PBIS incentives and special student events.
The Morenci Athletic Boosters will be having a Chili Cookoff fundraiser from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday October 8th before the homecoming game.
Help the Class of 2023 decorate the football field for homecoming!
Cheerleader for a day will be on October 15th. See flier for practice times, dates and location.
