Welcome Future Junior Bulldogs! Developmental Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration will be held by appointment only; each appointment will last approximately 30 minutes.

AGE REQUIREMENT
Developmental Kindergarten: Five (5) years old on or before December 1, 2024
Kindergarten: Five (5) years old on or before December 1, 2024

If your child will be four (4) years old on or before December 1, 2024 they are not eligible for young fives or kindergarten; they would however be eligible for our GSRP Preschool Program.

The placement of students in developmental kindergarten or kindergarten will be determined based on the kindergarten assessment.

Kindergarten Registration is a simple 5 step process:

  1. Schedule an appointment by Kindergarten Registration/Screening Sign Up or by contacting the elementary office.

  2. Complete the online registration by clicking here: Online Registration

  3. Complete the Parent Report: Self-help and Social-Emotional Scales

  4. Bring your child with you for the kindergarten assessment test

  5. Submit the required documentation when you come to your appointment (see below)

Required Documentation (copies will be made of the birth certificate, proof of residency, and immunization records at the appointment; with the originals being returned to the parent/guardian)

  • Certified Birth Certificate (original or a copy)

  • Proof of Residency (utility bill, rental or purchase agreement)

  • Immunization Records

  • Kindergarten Waiver Form (only for students who will turn five between September 1 and December 1, 2024)

  • School of Choice Application (for any student who does not reside within the Morenci School District)
